Meet Kobe...Utah Children's Photography

This is Kobe, he is 6 years old...but not for long he has a birthday coming up February 16th and he can't wait... He loves Toy Story... especially Woody...he also loves Wall-E, Mcdonalds and Alvin the Chipmunk. He is a little bit shy at first but if you can get him talking he warms right up :) He is absolutely adorable and I am so glad I got to meet him and his wonderful parents. When Kobe was 6 months old he was diagnosed with Chronic Granulomatous Disease...what the heck is that you ask?? Well it is a disorder of the immune system that leaves Kobe very susceptible to bacterial and fungal infections and chronic inflammatory conditions, and Kobe has definitely had More than his fair share to deal with over the years. He had his first bone marrow transplant on September 11, 2009 and found out 87 days later that his body rejected it and they are now planning on a second transplant to read more about Kobe's story visit: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kobekirk

Wendy, those photos were so beautiful and my hat is off to you for taking the time to photograph this courageous kid! I'm so grateful you shared them on your web site, he is truly an adorable child. Our family is part of the CGD community and we appreciate people like you recognizing the amazing Kobe!
